so和sothat的用法区别

so连接的是两个独立的分句。表示因果关系。例如：I was late, so I missed the meeting。我迟到了，所以我错过了这场会议。so that连接的两个分句是有目的关联的。so that 在这里是引导表示目的的句子。

so和sothat的用法区别

一）先看下so 在语法中有很多功能。

1）一个是表示同意。例如：A: I love English,that is why I come here.B:So do I.在这里So do I 表示我也是，我认同你的说法

2）so 有点像代词，但不完全是。它代替已经提到和理解的东西。例如：A: I think that woman know all the details about the accident .B:Well ,if you think so ,you should go talk to her.在这里so 指的是A所说的内容

3）so 作为副词，表示非常，很，表示程度。so nice ,so fat...so+形容词表示非常......

4）so 和so that 都可以作为连词，连接两个分句。

二）下面看看so 和so that 作为连词的区别

注意：so.... that....在这里so 是副词不是连词。表示太.....以至于........例如：I am so tired that I might pass out.我太累了，以至于可能会晕倒。

so用作连词，主要用于表结果，意为“所以”：

It’s very cold, so wear a heavy coat. 外边很冷，因此穿一件厚大衣。

The door was locked, so we couldn’t get in. 门上锁了，所以我们进不去。

I couldn’t have won, so I didn’t go in for the race. 我不可能获胜，因此我没参赛。

The play began at eight, so they must dine at seven. 戏八点开始，因此他们必须七点吃饭。

It was dark, so I couldn’t see what was happening. 天很黑，所以我看不见发生了什么事。

There happened to be a policeman on the corner, so I asked him the way. 恰好拐角处有一位警察，我就向他问路了。
