Be going to do 和 will都有表示“将要”的意思，不过两者是有着区别的：be going to表示将要发生的事情，will表示的时间则较远一些；be going to有计划、准备的意思，will没有；be going to表示事先经过考虑的打算，will表示意愿、决心。
be going to do和will的区别有哪些
1，will表示的将来时间较远，be going to表示的将来时间较近。例如：
I will retire in ten years. 我十年后退休。
I am going to have lunch soon. 我马上就要吃午饭了。
2，will表示意愿、决心、承诺或请求，be going to表示事先有计划或打算。例如：
I will help you with your homework. 我会帮你做作业的。
3，will表示根据说话人的主观意志或判断做出的决定，be going to表示根据客观迹象或事实做出的预测。例如：
It's cold today. I will wear a coat. 今天很冷，我要穿件外套。
4，will常用于条件状语从句、时间状语从句或让步状语从句中，be going to则不用。 例如：
If you work hard, you will succeed. 如果你努力工作，你就会成功。
When he arrives, I will tell him the news. 他一到，我就告诉他这个消息。
5，will常用于否定句中表示拒绝、不愿意或不打算做某事，be going to则不常用。 例如：
He won't listen to me. 他不肯听我的话。
